With UP Board declaring the class 10 and 12 results in April, Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma has said that it was a copying-free examination.
“We will declare the results of UP Board examinations for Class 10th and Class 12th in April," Sharm told reporters while inaugurating a school in Jaunpur, clarifying the confusion of result declaration date.
This year, the board exams were conducted amid tight security and strict measures were put in place to discourage cheating.
According to reports, more than 10 lakh students skipped the up board high school and intermediate exams - conducted between February 6 and March 12.
“The state government has checkmated copying mafia in the state. Some elements who are still running away from the government, will be identified by next year,” claimed Sharma.
The evaluation of answer scripts has already started. Board of High School and Intermediate Education Allahabad Uttar Pradesh is likely to complete evaluation of answer scripts within the third week of April. The expected result declaration date is April 15.
