The rank list for the Tamil Nadu Common Admission (TANCA) has been released today, August 22, 2019, by the Anna University. The counselling process is conducted for the admission in ME, MTech, MArch and MPlan Courses in Anna University and other state-based institutes.
The rank list is now available on the official website of the Anna University, i.e. annauniv.edu.
The TANCA rank list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in GATE and TANCET 2019 respectively. The candidates who had appeared for the exam can visit the official website and check the rank list once released.
Pass Percentage
To clear the exam candidates are required to score at least 50 per cent marks, for reserved category candidates the same is 45 per cent. The exam will be conducted online. The score is accepted by over 300 colleges or higher education institutes.

TANCA 2019 Counselling Schedule:
- The Counselling process for GATE Category and Differently Abled Persons under TANCET Category will be held on August 27, 2019.
- The Counselling process for all other candidates in TANCET category will be commenced from August 28 to 30, 2019.
- The SCA to SC counselling will be held on August 30, 2019 (afternoon).
The candidates have to pay the processing fee of Rs. 5,300 (Rs. 1,150 for SC / SCA / ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) in the form of a Demand Draft. The draft should be drawn in favour of "The Secretary, TANCA, Anna University" payable at Chennai.
The fee includes a non-refundable sum of Rs. 300 towards counselling fee (Rs.150 for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu).
Candidates are advised to present all original certificates at the time of counselling.
TANCA 2019 Admission:
Based on the performance in the exam, a rank list will be released today. Those who qualify the exam will be eligible to appear for counselling sessions. Candidates will have to choose the course or college they wish to apply in order of preference. Based on merit and choice, an allotment list will be declared later.
