Prabanjan J from Tamil Nadu and Bora Varun Chakraborty from Andhra Pradesh have topped the NEET UG 2023 exam with 99.99 percentile scores. Out of a total of 20.38 lakh registered candidates, 11.45 lakh candidates qualified for the exam.
Self-Control is the Biggest Strength: Shashank Kumar
Allen's classroom student, Shashank Kumar, has secured All India Rank 14 in NEET UG 2023. Shashank, a native of Nawada district in Bihar, emphasizes his self-control as his greatest strength. Shashank says, "My biggest strength is self-control. I limit myself to using smartphones for only one hour."
He values the guidance of his parents and teachers, seeking their advice whenever he feels upset or confused.
"I practice Pranayama for about 45 minutes every day, which helps me feel relaxed. Now, my aspiration is to pursue MBBS from AIIMS New Delhi and specialize in either cardiology or neurology. I have always envisioned myself as a surgeon."
Shashank achieved an impressive score of 99% in class 10th (ICSE) and 96.4% in class 12th (CBSE). His father, Uday Kumar, is a Zonal Manager at Ubicure Pharmaceutical Company, and his mother, Vandana Kumari, is a lecturer at a Government College. Shashank is also an NTSE scholar.
