NEET PG Results 2024 update: While the official date for the announcement has not yet been confirmed, it is anticipated that the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will soon publish the NEET PG 2024 results on its official websites (natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in). The results will be provided in a PDF format, which will include the scores of all candidates who participated in the examination. Individual scorecards will be available a few days after the initial results are released. Additionally, the NBEMS will disclose the NEET PG cut-off marks at the same time as the results. The examination was conducted on August 11 in two separate shifts. For context, the previous year's NEET PG exam was held on March 5, with results made public on March 14. Consequently, candidates can anticipate the release of the NEET PG 2024 results in the near future.
NEET PG Results 2024: Tie-breaking rule
In case two or more candidates obtain the same marks in the PG medical entrance exam, the NBEMS will follow the tie-breaking rule i.e.
Candidates having a greater number of correct responses in the question paper will be placed in a better merit position.
Candidates having a lesser number of negative responses in the question paper will be placed in a better merit position
Older candidates will be given preference.
“A candidate securing higher aggregate marks (in percentage) in all MBBS professional exams will be placed at a better merit position. In case of Indian Citizens/ OCI who have obtained their Primary Medical Qualifications from outside India, their FMG Examination marks (in percentage) shall be considered instead of aggregate marks (in percentage) in all MBBS Professional Examination”.
NEET PG Results 2024: How to check results, Once released?
- Firstly, candidates need to visit the official website i.e. natboard.edu.in.
- Then click on the result link available on the home page.
- Enter your login credentials and click on submit.
- The pdf of the result will be displayed on the screen of the candidate.
- After viewing. download the same and take a printout for future reference.
