The Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya has also appreciated the efforts of NBE by declaring the NEET PG result in a record time of just 10 days. The NEET PG 2022 Exams were conducted on 21st May 2022 in a pen and paper mode, amid protest from the students as counselling for the earlier batch was unusually delayed from August-September 2021 to May 2022 because of the Covid pandemic.
According to Government data, The NEET PG Exams were conducted in 849 examination centres across the country. A total of 1,82,318 candidates appeared for the NEET PG examination in 2022, and the All India Topper scored 705 marks out of 800 marks.
The eligibility cut-off criteria for the selection of candidates from general and economically weaker section is 50th percentile (275/800); For the Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST) and OBC the cutoff is 40th percentile (245/800), while the cut-off for the candidate from unreserved persons with disability is set as 45th percentile (260/800).
The results released by the NBE have declared Dr. Shagun Batra as the All India Topper for the NEET PG 2022 exams. According to reports, the NBE has scheduled the release of the Scorecard for 8th June 2022 and the Counselling Dates are likely to begin on 20th June.
