MP MTech Counselling 2024: The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Madhya Pradesh, has released the seat allotment results for the Madhya Pradesh Masters of Technology (MTech) round 2 counselling 2024 today, 9 September. Candidates who have participated in the choice filling round can download the MP MTech 2024 round 2 seat allotment letter by visiting the official website at dte.mponline.gov.in.
Candidates must also need their application number and password to check and download the MP MTech seat allotment letter 2024. The deadline for downloading the allotment letter and completing document verification at the allotted institute is 9 September.
As per the official notice, seat allocations for candidates are determined by their Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score, their preference of college, availability of seats, and their performance in the qualifying exam.
Following the second round of seat allocation based on valid GATE scores, any remaining seats will be filled according to candidates' marks in their qualifying exams. For institution-level counseling, a merit list will be compiled from candidates attending on September 12, between 10:30 am and 1:00 pm, and admissions will be granted based on this list.
If seats are still available after this counseling session, an additional round will be held from September 13 to September 15, 2024. Candidates must attend on September 15, 2024, starting at 10:30 am, to be considered for admission.
MP MTech Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens.
- Educational Qualifications: Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or technology field with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Degree Duration: The bachelor's degree must be of at least four years’ duration.
- GATE Score: A valid GATE score is required.
