The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) students got better results in IIT JEE Advanced 2019. This year 1019 KVS students have successfully qualified the JEE Advanced 2019 examination. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee has conducted JEE Advanced exam on May 27, 2019, and declared the result for the same on June 14, 2019.
This year, 1,61,319 candidates who appeared in both paper one and two of the exam, out of which 38,705 candidates have cleared the exam. Kartikey Gupta secured AIR 1 in JEE Advanced 2019.

A total of 6094 Kendriya Vidyalaya students have appeared for the exam this year, out of which 1019 students have been cleared the exam. While in JEE Mains 2019 examination, 21, 229 Kendriya Vidyalaya students have appeared for the exam out of which 6094 students have qualified the exam. There are 1205 Kendriya Vidyalayas functioning across the country with three being run in the Embassies of Tehran, Kathmandu, and Moscow. Over 12.75 lakh students are studying in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS).
