Fact App and Website for IIT Admission Counselling: Important Details
Shashank Chaturvedi, ABPUA Secretary and IIT BHU alumnus, highlighted the initiative's aim to empower students from remote and rural areas by providing better counselling facilities accessible from the comfort of their homes. The Fact App features support from directors, teachers, and students of prestigious institutions, contributing to its effectiveness.
To access the Fact App, students can download it from the Google Play Store, while laptop and computer users can visit the Fact App website. The platforms offer comprehensive information about admissions to IITs, NITs, and IIITs, and student queries are addressed in a user-friendly manner. If desired, students can even connect with mentors via phone, with the mentor's name, photo, institute, and programme details displayed.
Looking ahead, Shashank Chaturvedi revealed plans to include other national entrance exams, such as NEET, CUET, and CLAT, in the Fact App starting next year.
