India Post GDS Result 2024 update: The recruitment process for India Post Gramin Dak Sevak July 2024 is currently underway. Candidates, who applied for the Branch Postmaster/Dak Sevaks/ Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) between July 15, 2024 and August 5, 2024, are waiting for their results. According to media reports, India Post will release India Post GDS Merit List 2024 in due course of time on the official website (indiapostgdsonline.gov.in). However, official notification in connection with the India Post GDS Merit List 2024 and cut off release date is awaited.

According to media reports, the Ministry of Communications is expected to release the India Post GDS Merit List 2024 by second or third week of August 2024.

Candidates, who have submitted their application form, will get shortlisted on the basis of India Post GDS Merit List 2024. It should be mentioned that the shortlisted candidates will be informed about the physical verification and results through a text message on their registered mobile number or email address.
India Post GDS Merit List 2024: Recruitment process
The selection of Indian Post GDS posts will be based on a merit list generated according to candidates' Class X marks and reservation policies. This merit list will include the post name, registration number, cut-off percentage, name, gender, and rank of the candidates.
If applicants have the same marks, priority will be given based on factors like date of birth, ST female, ST-transwoman, and SC female candidates. After the release of this merit list, shortlisted candidates will move to the second stage of the recruitment process - document verification.
It is recommended that candidates verify the cut-off on India Post's official regional website as soon as the authorities release it. The cut-off for GDS recruitment mentioned below is an expected cut-off based on the previous year's cut-off.
