Goa GCET 2023 Result Released: Important Details
The Goa Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) conducted the Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) 2023 on May 13 and 14 across various exam centres in the state, with approximately 3,223 students appearing for the test. It serves as the entrance examination for engineering and pharmacy degree programs in Goa.
The result document released by DTE Goa includes the roll numbers and subject-wise marks of the candidates in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths.
This edition of GCET marks the final common entrance conducted by the Goa DTE. Starting from the academic year 2024-25, admissions to B.E. (Engineering) degree courses in Goa will be based on Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 scores. According to an official notice by DTE, "Admissions to B.E. (Engineering) Degree courses in the State of Goa for the academic year 2024-25 shall be carried out on the basis of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 scores."
