The UP Board Exam 2017, result of which scheduled to be declared on June 9, has been marred by controversies.

Amid high security, Uttar Pradesh board exam 2017 started on March 16, 2017. If reports are be believed then UP board’s Class 10 English examination has been cancelled at two centres in Mathura district due to mass cheating.

“Since mass copying was detected during the English paper of Class 10 in Vachvan Behari Inter college and Sardar Patel Inter college in the district, the examination held in these centres has been cancelled,” said District Inspector of Schools, IP Singh Solanki.

Following mass cheating reports during Uttar Pradesh (UP) Board exams, private tuition teachers across the State are now under scanner.

In one incident image of question paper was circulated on Whatsapp whereas at one centre students went outside the exam hall and exchanged notes, reports NDTV. In another incident, photo and video of class 10 students cheating during Mathematics exam went viral on social media platforms.

In a meeting which Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held with education department officials, it was decided that school examinations should be held over a span of 15 days and the results out in the next 15 days.
