CBSE 12th Result 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the CBSE 12th results 2024 today, 13 May.
This year the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results of the Class 12 examination, with 87.98% of students passing. Once again, girls have outperformed boys.

Pass Percentage Disparity Between Genders in CBSE Class 12 Results
- The pass percentage for girls stood at 91.52%, while for boys, it was 85.12%.
- Girls outperformed boys by 6.40% in terms of pass percentage.
- Trivandrum leads nationwide with a pass percentage of 99.91%.
- Delhi West achieved a pass percentage of 95.64%.
CBSE 12th Result 2024: Best performing districts
- Trivandrum Tops as the best performing district with 99.91 % pass.
- Vijaywada (99.04%) and Chennai(98.47%), secures the close 2nd and 3rd position respectively.
- Delhi East recorded a pass percentage of 94.51%, while delhi west had 95.64% pass.
CBSE 12th Result 2024: Pass Percentage by Institution
- CTSA has achieved the highest pass percentage at 99.23%.
- JNVs (Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas) follow closely with 98.90% of students passing.
- KVs (Kendriya Vidyalayas) have recorded a pass percentage of 98.81%.
- Government-aided schools have a pass percentage of 91.42%.
- Government schools have a slightly lower pass percentage at 88.23%.
- Independent schools maintain a pass percentage of 87.70%.
The board has declared class 12 board result on the official CBSE result portal, students will be able to check their results by visiting the official website i.e. cbse.gov.in.
This year, the CBSE conducted the Class 10, and 12 board examinations in the month of February, March, and April. The Class 10 exam took place from 15 February - 13 March, 2024, in single shifts from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm/12:30 pm, and around 39 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 final examination.
Last year, the results were announced on 12 May, 2023. While in the year 2022, the results were released on 22 July.

- Firstly students need to visit the official website of the CBSE Board.
- Then click on the CBSE 10th result 2024/Cbse 12th result 2024 link available on the homepage.
- Enter your login credentials and click on the submit button.
- The CBSE Results 2024 mark sheet will appear on the screen.
- Candidates can view and download their results and can take a printout of the same for future reference.
