Assam NEET UG Counselling 2024: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam has released the round 1 seat allotment list for the Assam National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2024. Candidates who registered for the counselling process can visit the official website i.e. dme.assam.gov.in. to check the Assam NEET UG 2024 seat allotment result.
The counselling will be conducted in two rounds. The candidates who will be unable to participate in the first round of counselling, have their seats withdrawn. The DME will publish the merit list based on the scores of NEET. The college will be allotted to the candidates based on their preferences during the choice-filling process.
The seats will be allotted based on merit rank. The merit list will display the following details-
Name of the candidate
Roll number
State merit rank
Name of the allotted institute
Selected candidates under the PWD and Extremist Violence, Martyrs Quota will have to report to the DME Office on 2 September 2024 at 10 am. For all other candidates, the reporting process at the respective allotted colleges' principal's office will be commenced from 3 to 5 September 2024.
Candidates are required to carry the original documents and pay the admission fees during this period, or their seat allotment will be cancelled. The Assam NEET UG 2024 admission is approximately Rs 25,000.
