New Parliament Building: Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the country's new parliament building to the nation on Sunday, May 28, 2023. The construction area of the new Parliament House is 64,500 square meters. Sixty thousand labourers have been employed directly in its construction. More than 23 lakh man-days of employment were generated for management and laborers associated with the project. This can be understood in such a way that if a person were to start building the Parliament House, they would have to work for 23 lakh days, which is equivalent to 6312 years. However, the construction work, which began in December 2020, has been completed in about two and a half years, marking a significant achievement.

They have prepared the furniture for the new Parliament House, providing seating arrangements for 888 members in the Lok Sabha and 384 members in the Rajya Sabha. Additionally, there is seating for 1,272 members in the Lok Sabha building during joint sessions.

Under the RPL accreditation by the Furniture and Fitting Skill Council (FFSC), a total of 910 carpenters were trained and certified. This initiative was carried out under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), in collaboration with the NDMC Jurisdiction and Narsee Group, considering the nature of their work.
