910 Carpenters Certified by Skill India
Carpenters have been certified by Skill India for their contribution to creating a world-class infrastructure for the new Parliament House, representing India's progress and democratic values. They have prepared the furniture for the new Parliament House, providing seating arrangements for 888 members in the Lok Sabha and 384 members in the Rajya Sabha. Additionally, there is seating for 1,272 members in the Lok Sabha building during joint sessions.
Under the RPL accreditation by the Furniture and Fitting Skill Council (FFSC), a total of 910 carpenters were trained and certified. This initiative was carried out under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), in collaboration with the NDMC Jurisdiction and Narsee Group, considering the nature of their work. As part of this programme, the carpenters were awarded Diploma Certificates of Skilled Workers. The aim of this initiative is to enhance and promote skill training for carpenters.

Grand Constitution Hall, Three Galleries
A Grand Constitution Hall has been built in the new Parliament House, showcasing India's ancient culture and democratic traditions. The new Parliament House also includes a lounge for MPs, rooms for various committees, a dining area, and ample parking space. The music gallery features paintings of Swami Haridas and Tyagaraja, as well as musical instruments, showcasing classical dance and expressions of Navaras. The architectural gallery provides a glimpse of landmarks such as the Brihadeeswarar Temple in Tanjore and Auroville in Puducherry. In the craft gallery, visitors can appreciate the craftsmanship of various materials, including stone, metal, wood, and textiles.
State of the Art Security Arrangements
The new Parliament House is equipped with cameras featuring thermal imaging and face recognition systems, enhancing security measures to prevent suspicious activities. The updated CCTV system works on a 360-degree rotation, ensuring comprehensive surveillance. Notably, even if someone attempts to enter the Parliament House complex from the opposite direction of the camera's rotation, they will be detected. Sources state that the equipment here is highly secure, impervious to hacking attempts. The new Parliament House boasts a foolproof cyber system, aptly named 'state-of-the-art' cyber security, designed by expert professionals.
