The UPSC National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II) official notification and exam details have been released on the official website by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
The UPSC conducts the exam for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA and the Indian Naval Academy course twice a year.
Candidates who wish to take admission to these courses can apply for the recruitment process up to September 3, 2019, till 6:00 PM. The online Applications can be withdrawn from September 10, 2019, to September 17, 2019, till 6:00 PM.
The UPSC NDA & NA II Recruitment 2019 online application process will be commenced from today, i.e., August 07, 2019. Candidates are required to apply online by visiting the official website before September 09, 2019.

All the candidates applying for the admission process are required to provide valid & active e-mail id while filling up the online application form as the Commission may use electronic mode for contacting them.
Candidates successfully registered for the admission process shall be issued an e-Admit Card three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admit Card will be made available on the UPSC website (upsconline.nic.in) for being downloaded by candidates. Candidates should also remember that the admit cards will not be sent by post.

(IV) Eligibility Criteria:
Army Wing of NDA: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination.
Air force and Naval wings of NDA and NA: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics.
(V) Date of Commencement of Online Application: August 07, 2019
Last Date for Submission of Online Application: September 03, 2019
(VI) How to apply: Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website, upsconline.nic.in.
Brief instructions for filling up the online Application will be given in the official notification. Candidates are advised to read the detailed notification carefully.
This year, the Commission has introduced the facility of withdrawal of application for those candidates who do not want to appear for the Examination.
(VII) Earlier This year :
In January 2019, applications were invited by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the post of National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination, 2019 for 392 vacant posts. Out of which 50 vacant posts were for the Naval Academy through the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme.
