TNPSC Combined Statistical Subordinate Service Exam 2021 - PC : My Result Plus

The Tamil Nadu Public Serice Commission, TNPSC has started the online registration process for Combined Statistical Subordinate Service Exam, CSSSE 2021. The candidates can register themselves for the exam by visiting the official website at tnpsc.gov.in. The candidates must note that the last date to register for the recruitment exam is 19th November 2021. 


Exam Details: The exam is going to be conducted on 9th January 2022. The examination includes two different papers- Paper-I and Paper-II. The first paper will be held from 10 am to 1 pm and the second paper will be from 3 pm to 5 pm. Paper-I consists of Subject Paper and Paper-II consists of General Studies. 

Recruitment Details: The commission is conducting the recruitment exam to fill up the vacancies on 193 posts, out of which 161 posts are of Block Health Statistician, 30 posts for Computer-cum-vaccine storekeeper, and 2 for Statistical Assistant.

Know the Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification

Block Health Statistician: The candidates must have a degree in Economics or Statistics or Mathematics from a University Grants Commission, UGC recognised institution or university.

Computer-cum-vaccine storekeeper: The candidate must have a degree in Mathematics or Statistics with Statistics as a special subject. Else, the candidates must be qualified in any one of the subjects- Applied Statistics Probability and Applied Statistics and Basic Statistics for Actuarial Science; Fundamental Statistics Applied Statistics, and Fundamental Statistics. 

Statistical Assistant: The candidates must have a working knowledge of computer statistical tools with a Master Degree in Statistics or Mathematics. 

Age Limit

The candidates applying for this recruitment exam should have attained 30 years of age. The official notification reads, “No maximum age limit shall mean that the applicants should not have completed 60 years of age either on the date of Notification or at the time of selection/ appointment to the post.

Registration Fee: The candidates are required to make the payment of INR150 as a registration fee and INR 100 as an exam fee. The candidates from reserved categories are exempted from the fee payment process. 

How to Apply for TNPSC CSSSE 2021: 

  1. Visit the official website of TNPSC at tnpsc.gov.in

  2. Under the homepage, click on New User to register and generate Registration id and password

  3. Return to the homepage and click on Apply Online.

  4. Login using the registration credentials and fill the application form with the necessary details.

  5. Upload required documents and complete the payment.

  6. Submit the application form. Save the confirmation page. 

  7. Keep a hard copy of the same for future use.
