SSC JE 2024: The Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination, 2024 online application period will shortly come to an end, according to the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Eligible candidates can submit their applications by visiting the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) at ssc.gov.in


Candidates must note that there are a total of 968 posts for application.These positions are available across various departments and ministries under the Government of India.


According to the official notice the last date of application for these posts in SSC  is 18 April, 2024. Additionaly, after the completion of the application process, the correction window will remain open from 22 April onwards till 23 April, 2024. 


As per the latest post from the SSC, there will be no more extensions granted for the application process. Therefore, it is recommended that candidates finish their applications by the deadline.

 

The official notice from SSC advises aspiring candidates for the position of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination 2024 to submit their online applications well in advance of the closing date, which is 18 April, 2024. 
 

This is adviced in order to prevent any potential issues such as disconnection or login failure due to heavy traffic on the servers during the final days. Additionally, candidates are warned that there will be no extension granted for the submission of applications under any circumstances.
 

SSC JE 2024: Exam details 

  • The Computer-Based Examination (Paper-I) is scheduled to take place from June 4 to June 6, 2024.
  • The hiring campaign aims to fill a total of 968 positions.
  • Candidates are advised to refer to the official notification for detailed information regarding the position, including age restrictions, educational qualifications, and other specific requirements.

 

SSC JE 2024: Application fee 

  • Unreserved category applicants: Rs 100 fee.
  • Women candidates and candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from fee payment.

  • Firstly, visit the official website at  ssc.gov.in
  • Then on the homepage under quick links section, click on ‘Apply’ tab.
  • Now, register yourself and proceed with the application process
  • Next, fill the application form and pay the fee, then submit. 
  • Lastly, download and take a printout for future reference.
