SSB odisha recritment 2024: The State Selection Board (SSB) Odisha 2024, deadline for applications to be considered for the position of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) at Odisha's Non-Govt. Aided Higher Secondary Schools is today, 18 April.
Eligible candidates can register themselves for the post by visiting the official website i.e. ssbodisha.ac.in. The goal of this recritment drive is to fill up 1061 PGT posts in total.
The online application form will be available on SSB Odisha's official website for a period of four weeks following its activation, all eligible candidates are notified. In order to avoid any difficulties when completing the online application at the last minute, it is advised that those who meet the requirements for the Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) position apply early.
SSB odisha recritment 2024: Qualification required
- Candidates must be between 21 years to 38 years of age as of January 2024. The upper age limit is relaxed for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
- Candidates should possess a Master's Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University.
- Alternatively, candidates can have an integrated six-year Post Graduate Master's course from a Regional College of Education recognized by NCERT, with at least 50% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade.
- Additionally, candidates must have obtained a B.Ed. or equivalent Degree recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi, as equivalent to B.Ed. from a recognized University or Institution.
- Note: B.Ed. qualification is not mandatory for the post of PGT in Commerce, Education, Geology, Home Science, Logic & Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, IRPM, Telugu & Urdu subjects.
