SSB Head Constable Recruitment 2023: Age Limit
- For Head Constable (Mechanic - Male only): The age requirement is between 21 and 27 years as of June 18, 2023. Upper age relaxation is applicable to candidates from reserved categories.
- For Head Constable (Electrician, Steward, Veterinary, and Communication): The age requirement is between 18 and 25 years as of June 18, 2023. Upper age relaxation is applicable to candidates from reserved categories.
SSB Head Constable Recruitment 2023: Application Fee
Applicants from the General/EWS/OBC (NCL) category are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 100. SC/ST/Female candidates and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying the fee.
SSB Head Constable Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
The selection process will be conducted in three phases based on the type of post. All candidates will undergo Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). Candidates who pass the Physical Tests will be shortlisted for a Written Exam. Candidates in the Final Merit list will be invited to participate in Skill/Trade tests applicable to their respective posts.
