Eastern Railway Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Cell, Eastern Railway, Kolkata is going to close the application window for Apprenticeship posts today by 5.00 pm. Interested candidates who have not applied yet can visit the official website i.e. www.rcer.org. to apply for the Apprenticeship.
This recruitment drive will fill out a total of 3115 vacancies. The vacancy breakdown is as follows-
Howrah Division: 659 posts
Liluah Workshop: 612 posts
Sealdah Division: 440 posts
Kanchrapara Workshop: 187 posts
Malda Division: 138 posts
Asansol Division: 412 posts
Jamalpur Workshop: 667 posts
The selection of candidates for training positions within an Eastern Railway unit will be determined by a merit list compiled for all eligible applicants according to the notification. This merit list will be based on the information provided by candidates in their online application forms.
The candidates may note that they will have to pay application fees of Rs 100 to submit the form. The candidates of the SC/ST/PwBD/Women category should not pay the application fee.
Also, to participate in this recruitment drive the candidates will have to lie between the age group of 15 to 24 years. However, age relaxation will be provided to candidates of reserved categories.
The candidate must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks, in the aggregate, from a recognized Board and should also possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
