RRB Technician Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is going to close the registration window for Technician Recruitment 2024 today. Interested candidates who wish to apply for the same can visit the official website i.e. rrbapply.gov.in. to apply for the posts.
This recruitment drive will fill out a total of 14,298 technician posts in the organization, the number of vacancies earlier to be filled was 9144 for open lines (17 categories), which was enhanced to 14,298 after RRB received additional demand from Zonal Railways/Production Units.
The candidates may note that after closing the application window, the board will open the application correction window from 17 to 21 October 2024. The candidates will be allowed to make changes to their application form through this window if required.
Also, to apply for the posts under this recruitment the candidates will have to pay application fees according to the category they belong to i.e. applicants from the general category will have to pay Rs 500 as the application fee. Candidates of SC, ST, Female, Transgender, and EWS will have to Rs 250 as an application fee.

RRB Technician Recruitment 2024: Important instructions
- Candidates who applied during the previous window and paid the application fees they will not be required to pay any extra fee during this window.
- Existing candidates will be able to apply for newly added categories and for already notified categories they did not opt for previously. They will be also allowed to modify the previously selected categories.
- Existing candidates can only edit their educational qualifications, re-upload photographs, and signatures, and change RRB and post preferences.
- Candidates who did not submit their applications previously, those who applied but did not pay the fee and those who applied for Category 1 (Technician Grade 1) and did not apply for Technician Grade 3 will be treated as fresh candidates.
- During the re-opened application window, new candidates can apply for Technician posts under all categories – 2 to 40.

- Firstly, candidates need to visit the official website i.e. rrbapply.gov.in.
- Then click on the registration link available on the home page.
- Register yourself and fill out the application form.
- Pay the required fee and click on submit.
- Save the confirmation page and take a printout for future reference.
