RRB RPF Recruitment 2024: The RRB Notification for RPF Recruitment 2024, featuring 4660 Sub-Inspector and Constable positions, has now been released. The application process is set to start from tomorrow, 15 April onwards. Eligible candidates may apply for the position by visiting and registering themselves on the official website i.e. rpf.indianrailways.gov.in.
A total of 4,660 open positions within the company will be filled by this recruitment effort. Constables will occupy 4,208 of the open seats, while sub-inspector positions will occupy 452 of the open seats.
RRB RPF Recruitment 2024: Educational Requirements
- Applications must be submitted for Sub-Inspector posts from candidates who have completed their undergraduate studies at an institution approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India.
- Recruitment for Constable Posts: Applicants must have completed the 10th grade or an equivalent exam from a board that has been approved by the Indian government.
RRB RPF Recruitment 2024: Age criteria
- Sub-Inspector Positions: Candidates must be between the ages of 20 and 28 to be eligible.
- Constable Posts: Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 28 to be eligible.
RRB RPF Recruitment 2024: fee for Application
- Candidates (excluding those mentioned in category 2) will receive a refund of Rs. 400 from the Rs. 500 fee, minus applicable bank charges, upon participating in the CBT.
- Members of SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Minority, or Economically Backward Class (EBC) categories will receive a refund of Rs. 250 from the fee of Rs. 500 after taking the CBT, minus relevant bank charges.
RRB RPF Recruitment 2024: Selection criteria
1. Computer-Based Test (CBT) Online: A CBT exam will be administered online to all candidates.2. Shortlisting: Candidates will be ranked in order of performance in the CBT. Ten times as many applicants will be shortlisted for each category (male, female, and ex-servicemen) as there are openings. Within each category, selection will be made on the basis of merit.
3. Physical Examinations and Document Verification: The following will be done on the shortlisted applicants (apart from former service members):
- PET, or Physical Efficiency Test
- Verification of documents (DV)
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT).
