ONGC Recruitment 2024:  The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has begun the registration process for ONGC apprentice recruitment 2024. The candidates who want to apply for the same can visit the official website i.e. ongcindia.com. to submit their form. 

This recruitment drive will fill out a total of 2,236 vacancies for apprentice positions. The vacancy breakdown is as follows-
Northern sector: 161 posts 
Mumbai sector: 310 posts 
Western sector: 547 posts 
Eastern sector: 583 posts 
Southern sector: 335 posts 
Central sector: 249 posts 

The duration of the Apprenticeship will be one year. 

The selection process for ONGC Apprentice Recruitment 2024 will be based on the merit list, which is created based on candidates' marks in the qualifying examinations mentioned in the official advertisement. In cases where applicants have identical merit scores, preference will be given to the older candidate.

Also, successful candidates will have to present their original documents for verification on a designated date before joining. The candidates who want to participate in this, must lie between the age group of 18 to 24 years. However, age relaxation will be provided to candidates of reserved category. 

ONGC Recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria is decided according to the post the candidate is applying for i.e. 
  • Graduate apprentice positions require candidates to have completed degrees such as BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, BE, or BTech. 
  • Those applying for diploma apprentice roles are required to hold a diploma in the relevant engineering discipline. 
  • Trade apprentices are required to have completed either their Class 10 or 12 and possess an ITI certificate of one or two years, depending on the specific trade.

  • Then click on the application link available on the home page. 
  • Enter your login credentials and fill out the application form. 
  • At last click on submit and save the confirmation page. 
  • Candidates can take a printout for future reference.
