JSSC Teacher Recruitment 2023: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) postponed the registration start date for the Jharkhand Trained Primary Teacher Combined Competitive Examination 2023 to August 16, 2023. Candidates will be able to apply for the exam on the official website, jssc.nic.in.
JSSC Teacher Recruitment 2023: Important Details
The last date to apply for the post is September 15, 2023. Previously, the application process was set to commence on August 8, 2023.
Applicants will have the opportunity to make changes from September 21 to 23, 2023.
The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 26,001 posts. The JSSC has also modified the name of the examination from JPSTAACCE-2023 to JPSAACCE-2023.
The state-level Jharkhand JSSC teacher exam is conducted once a year to recruit eligible teachers for primary classes (1st to 5th) and upper primary classes (6th to 8th).
Vacancy Details: Teachers will be appointed through the Jharkhand Elementary Teacher Combined Competitive Examination 2023. Out of the total posts, 12,868 have been reserved for Assistant Teachers (Para Shikshak). Among these, there are 5,469 posts for classes I to V, while there are 7,399 posts for classes VI to VIII.
Of the 13,133 non-para teacher posts, 5,531 are for classes I to V, and 7,602 are for classes VI to VIII.
Age Range: Candidates' age should be between 21 and 40 years for Jharkhand Teacher Recruitment. However, the age limit is different for each category.
Application Fee: General, EBC, BC-1, and BC-2 category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100, while SC, ST category candidates who are Jharkhand state residents will have to pay Rs 50.
Educational Qualification: For PRT and TGT posts, candidates must have a bachelor's degree (B.Ed) and possess a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from a recognised institute.
