IB Recruitment 2018: The application process for the recruitment of the Intelligence Bureau for the posts of Security Assistant/Executive is to end today i.e. November 10, 2018.


 

The applications were invited by the Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for the post of 1054 Security Assistant (Executive), in IB (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India.


The candidates who are interested can still apply online as the online application process ends today i.e. November 10, 2018.

 

As the exams are coming soon and the dates have not been announced, the candidates musts be aware of the pattern of the exam and how will it be conducted.

The examination will be conducted in Three Tier.

 

Tier – I : Offline Examination of Objective types

 

Tier – II: Descriptive type and Spoken ability

 

Tier – III: Interview or Personality Test

 

 

Exam Pattern

 

Tier – I Examination

 

There will be a total of 100 Questions in tier – I examination which will carry 1 mark each i.e. 100 marks in total.

 

Subjects

 

There will be 4 subjects in total. The subjects will be : General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical/ Analytic Ability, English Language.

 

General Awareness

 

General Awareness will consist of a total of 40 Questions which will carry 40 marks

 

Quantitative Aptitude

 

Quantitative Aptitude will consist of a total of 40 questions which will carry 40 marks

 

Logical/ Analytic Ability

 

Logical/ Analytic Ability will consist of a total of 20 questions which will carry 20 marks

 

English Language

 

English Language will consist of a total of 20 questions which will carry 20 marks

 

The total time will be given 120 minutes to the candidates to finish this exam.

 

There will be negative marking in the exam, for each wrong Question the candidates will lose ¼ mark.

 

Tier – II Examination

 

This examination will be a total of 50 marks.

 

There will not be any specific subject for this exam.

 

There will be a question for Translation of a passage of 500 words from local language or dialect to English and vice verse.

 

This question will consist of 40 marks.

 

Spoken Ability: Spoken Ability will be of 10 marks in total.

 

The candidates will be provided with a total of 1 hour to finish the exam.

 

To qualify this Tier, the candidates need to obtain marks between at least 20 to 50.

 

Tier – III Examination

 

In this tier there will only be personality based interview as a final selection procedure.

 

The interview will be of 50 marks in total.
