Government Jobs: Government of Delhi has released a notification for Teacher Recruitment for many posts in Delhi. The recruitments are for Primary School Teachers (PST) and Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) under Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA).
Only Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Qualified Candidates are eligible to apply.
Primary Teachers are proposed to be engaged in Sarvodaya Schools of Directorate of Education, GNCT of Delhi under the scheme of Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), District wise tentative vacancies (subject to variation).
These teachers are proposed to be engaged purely on contract basis till 31.03.2019.
- The Consolidated salary of Rs. 35420/- per month will be paid to these teachers. No extra allowance will be admissible.
- Essential:
A.Candidates with Senior Secondary (10+2) or Intermediate or its equivalent from a Recognized Board.
B. Two years diploma or certificate course in elementary teacher’s education course/ junior basic training or bachelor of elementary education or equivalent from a recognized institution.
C. Must have passed Hindi as a subject at Secondary Level.
As per Delhi Gazette Notification dated 07.10.2011, only those candidates who are qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (For class I to V) Conducted by CBSE will be considered for appointment of teachers for class Ito V in the Sarvodaya Schools of Delhi.
Recruitment Rules in detail are available on the website of Directorate of Educationwww.edudel.nic.in. Those who fulfil educational qualification, as specified in Recruitment Rules (RRs) shall only apply.
Age:
1. Age as on 13/01/2019.
2. Age relaxable for 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates admissible.
3. Age relaxable for 3 years in case of OBC candidates admissible.
4. Age relaxable for candidates with disabilities- 10 years (General), 15 years in the case SC/ST (PH) and 13 years in the case of OBC (PH).
Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) are proposed to be engaged on a contractual basis by the UEE Mission, a society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 for implementation of the scheme of Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA). Subject wise tentative vacancies in each district are enclosed herewith. The vacancies are subject to variation.
These teachers are proposed to be engaged purely on contract basis till 31.03.2019.
- The Consolidated salary @ of Rs. 38100/- per month will be paid to these teachers. No extra allowance will be admissible.
- Candidates with Graduation in the specific subject with B.Ed. can apply.'
- As per Delhi Gazette Notification dated 07.10.2011, only those who are qualified in Elementary Stage in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by CBSE will be considered for appointment of teachers for class VI-VIII in the schools of Delhi.
Qualification: As per the Recruitment Rules, the Essential and other qualification required for direct recruits for TGT is as follows: "A Bachelor's Degree (Honours/Pass) or equivalent from a recognized University having secured 45% marks in aggregate, in two school subjects of which at least one out of the following should have been at the elective level:-
(i)-English,
(ii)- Mathematics,
(iii) Natural/Physical Science,
(iv) Social Science
Note: Main Subject for TGT (Natural Science/Physical Science) shall be Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany and Zoology
