Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has further extended the application last date for CTET 2021 December examination. Aspiring candidates can now apply for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test - CTET 2021 upto October 25, as per the recent official updates. While the registered candidates can submit the application fee upto October 26, by 3.30 PM. The application date extension notice is available on the official website - ctet.nic.in.
The CTET December 2021 was marked to conclude on October 19, in the previous official notification. As per the recent updates, the exam conducting authority has added one more examination city at Leh for the convenience of aspirants. The candidates who have already applied for CTET December 2021 and wish to change their city or make any correction in their particulars in the online application form, can do the same between October 28 to November 03, 2021.
Candidates should note that they will not be allowed to make any further changes in the application form after the due date under any circumstances. The CTET 2021 will be held between 16th December 2021 and 13th January 2022 as a online Computer Based (CBT) examination. The CBSE has also revised the eligibility criteria for post graduate candidates. Apart from previously announced eligibility criteria, the following candidates are also eligible to apply for CTET exam.
CTET December 2021 Revised Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must possess Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
- A candidate who have qualified CTET may also appear again for improving his/her score.
- There is no restriction on the number of attempts an aspirant can take for acquiring a CTET Certificate.
- The validity period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment is extended for life time for all categories.
