BFUHS Recruitment 2024: The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has initiated the application process for the recruitment of Staff Nurses.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website at bfuhs.ac.in. Candidates can apply for these positions until July 31, 2024. The aim of this recruitment drive is to fill a total of 120 vacancies for Staff Nurse positions.
According to the official notice, "Only those government employees will be eligible to receive appointment letters who have been certified by the department head that there is no pending disciplinary action against them, they are not undergoing punishment under the Punjab Civil Services (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 1970, or any other disqualification. They must obtain necessary NOC from the department head in the context of integrity and professional conduct.”
Candidates must note that incomplete applications or those submitted after the deadline will be rejected, and the university will take legal action against candidates who submit incorrect certificates or ineligible applications.
BFUHS Recruitment 2024: Educational qualification
- Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognized board/university/institution.
- Additionally, candidates should possess a B.Sc. degree.
- Candidates must hold a Nursing degree or a three-year diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized university/institution.
- Registration with the Punjab Nurses Registration Council, Chandigarh, is mandatory.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a B.Sc. qualification.
- Experience in the relevant field of nursing will be prioritized.
BFUHS Recruitment 2024: Age criteria
- The maximum age limit for candidates applying for these positions is 37 years.
- SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates will be eligible for age relaxation as per government rules.

- Selected candidates will be placed in Level-5 of the pay matrix as per the 7th CPC.
- The initial salary will be Rs. 29,200.
