WB Police Constable Recruitment 2024: The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) is going to close the registration window for WB Police Constable Recruitment 2024 tomorrow. Interested candidates can apply for the posts by visiting the official website i.e. prb.wb.gov.in.
Candidates must note that the link for submitting the applications will remain active till 11.59 pm. Eligible candidates are advised to apply by the deadline as soon as possible. After closing the registration window board will open the correction window on 8 April 2024.
The candidates who will submit the applications by the deadline will be able to access the correction window to make the necessary corrections in the application form if needed. The correction window for the same will remain open till 14 April 2024.
This recruitment drive will fill out a total of 11,749 constables out of which 8212 vacancies are for male candidates and 3537 vacancies are for female candidates.
WB Police Constable Recruitment 2024: Age Limit
To apply for this recruitment the candidate's age must lie between 18 to 30 years till 1 January 2024. However, the upper age limit is relaxed for reserved category candidates.
WB Police Constable Recruitment 2024: Educational Qualification
The applicant must have passed the Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent. The applicant must be able to speak, read, and write the Bengali language, provided that the provision will not apply to the persons who are permanent residents of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts.
