The schedule for the Engineering Services Exam, ESE 2022 has been released by the Union Public Service Commission, UPSC. The timetable is for the preliminary examination. The candidates who are going to appear for the examination can now check the schedule from the official website- upsc.gov.in.
As per the official notification, the exam will be conducted on 20th February 2022 in two sessions- the first session will be held for paper-1 from 10 am to 12 pm and the second session will be held for paper-2 from 2 pm to 5 pm. The paper-1 will be conducted for 200 marks and the candidates will be 2 hours to solve the objective questions. For paper 2, the candidates will be given 3 hours of time to solve objective questions worth 300 marks. The recruitment of the selected candidates will be done under the following categories:

The above-given schedule has been taken from the official notification and no changes have been made to the same. The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the prelims, mains exam, and personality test. As per the past trends, the admit card for the examination is expected to be released 3 weeks prior to the commencement of the examination.
