Elementary Mathematics Removed From Syllabus: UP Board
Elementary Mathematics - PC : Tes
The UP Board has removed Elementary Mathematics from High School Syllabus.

While the change in the syllabus has been brought about as a result of the implementation of NCERT syllabus for the board students, the Elementary Mathematics was considered to be easier in comparison to Mathematics.

There will be no board exam paper for Elementary Mathematics from 2020 onwards, reports NDTV.

The decision comes a few days after the board cancelled the UP Board Class X Science paper and UP Board Class XII Physics Paper I and II for Maharajganj district and Chandauli district respectively, following paper leak reports.

UP Board examinations for class X and XII started on February 6, 2018.
While the high school exams ended on February 22, the class XII exams will end on March 10.

Highlights
The syllabus for Mathematics included Co-ordinate Geometry, Trigonometry, and Logarithm.

The new syllabus now includes the following topics - Number system, Algebra, Co-ordinate geometry, Geometry, Mensuration, and Statistics and Probability.

Dos And Dont’s For UP Board Mathematics Paper
Students often find Mathematics paper difficult. Most of them fail to finish the paper within the allotted time. They are forced to leave a few questions just because they run out of time. If you among them. Don’t worry.

Following tips will help you to complete the paper well before time.

Fear of Mathematics
Some students give up right in the start thinking Maths is not their cup of tea. The formula and theorems are enough to scare them and give them sleepless nights. They get so paranoid and frightened that they are unable to concentrate. They must remember that everything can be learned provided they put in efforts and hard work.

Difficult Subject
We must admit the fact that Maths is relatively a difficult subject and needs some IQ to solve the tricky problems. But at the same time, we must know that it can be handled with hard work and dedication. Since most of the students act casual and do not spend time in studying Mathematics throughout the year, they fail miserably.
