Approximately, a total of 52 lakh state board students of both Class 10 and 12 have registered for the examination and had been eagerly waiting for the exam date sheet. According to some reports, this year UPMSP has set up nearly 8,000 exam centres to ensure smooth conduct of papers. It is also being speculated that the UPMSP has increased the number of exam centres to reduce the risk of transmissibility of Covid-19 infections.
In addition to this, the UP state board students are also informed that strict measures are being incorporated this year to ensure minimum possibility of malpractice during the course of the exams, though no such specific rules have been mentioned in the official date sheet released by UPMSP. Strict adherence to Covid-appropriate behavior shall also be ensured at all the exam venues.
It shall be mandatory for students to wear masks at all times while abiding by the social distancing norms. It is likely that Temperature checks would also take place at the exam centre, as the third wave of Covid-19 has just ended.
Keeping in view the ongoing UP elections, earlier the exam was speculated to begin in April first week. However, after the declaration of the exam dates, the papers will conclude on April 12, 2022 for both Class 10 and 12.
