UP Board Exam 2022 Expected to Commence After 10 March, UPMSP to Announce Dates Soon

The Election Commission of India, ECI has announced the polling dates for five states including Uttar Pradesh. As per the official schedule, the counting of votes in the UP will take place on 10th March 2022. In between, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, UPMSP is likely to conduct the UP Board Exam 2022 after the counting of votes. The Deputy Chief Minister of UP, Dinesh Sharma had earlier said that the board exam will be conducted after the completion of state assembly elections.


ECI has announced today, on 8th December that the elections will be held in Uttar Pradesh in seven phases from 10th February to 7th March 2022. It is expected that the practical exam for classes 10 and 12 will be conducted at the end of February 2022. The students who are going to appear for the examination would be able to check the UP Board Exam 2022 datesheet from the official website- upmsp.edu.in. 

Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh government announced winter vacation for students of classes 8 and below from 30th December 2021 to 15th January 2022. Later, in light of the surge in COVID-19 cases across the state, the schools were ordered to be closed till 16th January 2022 for students of classes 10 and below. The UP Board Exam 2022 is likely to be conducted between mid-March to mid-May as the schools will go for summer vacation from 21st May to 30th June, as per the academic calendar. 

According to the media reports, this year, a total of 51,74,583 candidates have registered for the board exam (Class 10 and 12) out of which 23,91841 students will appear for the UP Board Class 12 Exam 2022 and 27,83,742 students will sit for class 10 board exam.
