Sainik School Counselling 2024: The All India Sainik Schools Admission Counselling (AISSAC) released the results of the first round of seat assignment for Sainik School counselling 2024 today, 10 April.
Students who took the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE 2024)and are interested to be admitted to grade 6 and 9 can view their seat assignment results through the official website i.e. pesa.ncog.gov.in/sainikschoolecounselling.
According to the official notice, the results for Round 1 have been published, with a disclaimer that these results are contingent upon the judgment outcome of Writ Petition No 4,371 of 2024 filed in the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Bombay.
As per the previously released timetable, counseling-selected candidates must verify their enrollment at the assigned schools by today, 10 April.
Following which the candidates will then have medical exams and document verification on 15 April from 8 a.m. onwards. The deadline for submitting all required paperwork and fees is 27 April.

Based on the merit obtained in the AISSEE 2024 exam, e-counselling will be used to administer admissions to Sainik schools in 2024, including those in the 33 currently operating schools as well as those recently sanctioned under the 40% and 60% pathways.
AISSEE 2024 testing was conducted on 28 January, in pen and paper mode. The exam took place at 450 Sainik School locations spread over 185 Indian cities for admission to Classes 6, 9, and 8.
