The examination for the Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) has been postponed by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Indian Railway.
The notification regarding the same is available on the official website of RRB.
Previously, the exam was scheduled to be conducted between June and September 2019, however, it has been postponed.
The revised exam dates are not yet announced by the Regional Boards.
According to the notification, the revised dates will be available on the RRB websites later.
Total number of vacancies for RRB NTPC
Under RRB NTPC, a total of 35,277 vacancies are on offer of which 10,628 are for class 12 pass while a total of 24,649 are for graduate degree holders.
"A committee will decide the basic eligibility criteria and other terms and conditions to float a tender. After receiving applications, we will shortlist the agency. This may take over a month," informed a senior Railways official.

RRB NTPC 1st Stage exam 2019: Schedule
The Railway Recruitment Board( RRB) will release the admit card within 10 days before the beginning of the exam.
Candidates will be able to download RRB NTPC 1st Stage Exam 2019 admit card once it is released on all official regional websites of RRBs.
Selection procedure
The candidates will have to clear a typing test (TST) and document verification after CBT 1 and 2.
