The Rajasthan Secondary Board Examinations began on Thursday at 5,024 centres across the state.
A total of 11,41,572 candidates, including 12,222 private students, have been enrolled for the secondary examinations, Ajmer board spokesperson Rajendra Gupta said.
Elaborate arrangements have been made for the examinations, and district police chiefs and collectors have been asked to ensure that the exams are conducted fairly.
One flying squad has been deputed for each Tehsil to check unfair means during the exams. Besides, flying squads having female members have also been formed, he said.
