Panjab University (PU) has invited applications for the Common Entrance Test (CET)-2014, for admission to the BPharma and BSc (Honours) semester system, for the academic session 2014-15.
This entrance examination will be conducted on May 24, the university said in a statement released on Wednesday. The prospectus and application form for the same are available on the PU website. The last date for submission of online application is April 29.
The admission will be based on the scores obtained by the students in CET-UG 2014 and the marks in Qualifying Examination (10+2), each carrying a weightage of 25 percent and 75 percent respectively.
There are 46 seats in B Pharma at the University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), and 30 seats for each subject in BSc, which includes anthropology, biochemistry, biophysics and geology.
There are only 15 seats each in Biotechnology and Mathematics, 20 seats in Botany, 58 in Chemistry, 25 in Mathematics and Computing, 29 in Microbiology, 40 in Physics, 20 in Physics and Electronics and 25 in Zoology.
