The Muzaffarnagar district administration has imposed prohibitory orders under CrPC Section 144 in view of the upcoming high school and intermediate board examinations.
Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Inder Mani Tripathi said the prohibitory orders have been imposed in the district to maintain law and order for smooth conduct of the examinations.
The examinations will begin on 19 February and will end on 11 March 2015.

The prohibitory orders put a bar on assembly of more than four people in public place and carrying of arms and other weapons, Tripathi said, adding the restrictions will be in place till March 14.
