NTA Exam Calendar 2025: The National Testing Agency will release the NTA exam calendar 2025 for the major national entrance exams for the upcoming academic year soon. This examination calendar is released every year to inform candidates about the expected exam dates. The exam calendar will be released on the official website i.e. nta.ac.in.

Last year, NTA issued the exam calendar on 14 September 2024.The  NTA exam calendar 2025 PDF will notify the exam dates and mode of examination for the Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main) 2025 sessions 1 and 2, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025, Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025, CUET PG 2025, and the University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2025.

The NTA exam calendar 2025-26 will also release the expected dates for releasing results for the examination. In its previous calendar, the testing agency said that the specific details about the exams will be made available through the respective information bulletins which will be released at the time of commencement of the registration process.

The 2024 editions of several entrance tests conducted by the agency were in controversies. The UGC NET June exam was cancelled a day after it was held with the government saying the integrity of the test might have been compromised. The hybrid (online and offline exam) method adopted for the June edition was dropped during the re-test, and the agency went with the past practice of holding it in CBT (computer-based test) mode on multiple days and shifts.

JEE Main is conducted for determining the student’s eligibility for admission to the engineering programs while NEET is held for MBBS admissions. CUET has been introduced in recent years for university admissions, replacing the old system of admitting students based on their Class 12 scores.

UGC NET has multiple uses including awarding of research fellowships, the appointment of assistant professors in colleges, and admissions to the PhD programs starting from the 2024-25 session (a decision taken by the commission in March year).

The Ministry of Education has been mulling to merge JEE Main, NEET, and CUET into a single entrance exam under its ‘one nation, one exam’ policy, to reduce the stress amongst students. UGC chief and Union education minister have talked about the possibility in the past, however, there is no such update yet.
