NIFT Counselling 2024: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT 2024) has announced the results for undergraduate design programs. The students who appeared for the same can visit the official website i.e. exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT to check their scores.
Along with the result, the institute has also announced that it will issue the NIFT counseling schedule and registration details for BDesign and BFTech admissions in the third week of May.
According to the official notice, “The detailed Schedule and Registration for Seat Allocation for Admissions-2024 for all the programs will be notified in the 3rd week of May 2024 on NIFT website www.nift.ac.in.”
The NIFT exam is conducted for the students who want to be admitted into Bachelor of Design (BDes), Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech), Bachelor of Design (NLEA), Bachelor of Fashion Technology (NLEA), and Bachelor of Design (Artisans).

NIFT Counselling 2024: Documents required
- Class 10 mark sheet.
- Class 12 or equivalent educational qualification certificate recognized by the central or state board or the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.
- OR, 3-4 years diploma recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education.
- Copy of artisan card issued to self, father, and mother by the Development Commissioner (Handicraft)
- Category certificate and PwD certificate, if applicable.
- Form seeking provisional admission issued by NIFT should be filled and submitted.
- Undertaking for anti‐ragging and for a refund of fees.
- Medical fitness certificate.
NIFT Counselling 2024: Counselling process
The students may note that counseling is the final stage to secure admission to these courses. The counseling process is conducted online and the ranks are allotted to the students on the basis of the rank they secure in the NIFT entrance exam, reference, and seat availability.

Step 1- Registration
The candidates who qualify for the entrance exam will first register for the counseling process by visiting the official website.
Step 2- Fill the choice
The candidates will choose their college and program at this step. To complete this step the students are advised to research about the college, faculty, and placement programs.

On the basis of rank, choice, and seat availability, the candidates will get a seat and will be called on specific dates for each round.
Step 4- Fee payment and document and document verification
If the candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat, they can proceed with the fee payment of seat acceptance and document verification.
Step 5- Report at the allotted institute
When the candidate will complete the payment and document verification process they will have to report at their respective institute for completing the admission formalities.
On the basis of rank, choice, and seat availability, the candidates will get a seat and will be called on specific dates for each round.
