The Maharashtra State Service Prelims Exam 2022 has been postponed by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission, MPSC. The candidates who have registered for the examination can now read the notification on the official website- mpsc.gov.in. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be conducted on 2nd January 2022 at various test centres across the state in offline mode.
The exam date has been postponed in light of rising COVID-19 cases in the state. A new date for the preliminary examination will be announced soon by the MPSC. The admit card for the same was released on 22nd December 2021. The candidates who qualify for the prelims exam will become eligible to appear for the main examination which is scheduled to be conducted from 7th to 9th May 2022. MPSC State Service Prelims 2022: Exam Details
The selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the prelims, mains exam, and personal interview round. The exam will be conducted for 2 different paper- Paper-I will be for General Studies and Paper-II will be for Aptitude test. Both the papers will consist of 200 marks each and the candidates will be given 2 hours to solve each of the question papers.
