Candidates who have applied for the written examination are advised to regularly check the official website for further updates. The authorities will announce the examination date and date of issue of admit card within a short time as soon as the situations turn conducive.
KARTET 2020: About the exam
The Karnataka TET 2020 comprises two papers Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will be conducted from 9.30 am to 12 noon and Paper-II will be conducted from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.
The paper will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark with four alternatives. There will be no negative marking. The medium of question paper other than the languages shall be in English, Kannada, Urdu, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi.

- The School Education Department, Karnataka has further postponed the Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2020 till May 03, 2020.
- The decision has been taken due to the increasing cases of COVID-19 epidemic and extension of lockdown across the country.
