UPJEE 2023 Postponed: The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has postponed the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination 2023 (UPJEE 2023) to the first week of August. The Exam date and admit card for UPJEE 2023 will be released soon on the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in.


JEECUP UPJEE Exam Postponed: Important Details

Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be conducted from July 26 to August 1, 2023. The JEECUP took to Twitter to inform candidates that "Tentative exam dates for online CBT entrance examination UPJEE(P)-2023 is 1st week of August".



The UPJEE is a state-level examination for candidates seeking admission to government and private polytechnic colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria and other details in the notification available on the official website, jeecup.nic.in.

The JEECUP admit card for 2023 was scheduled to be issued on or before July 16th. However, it got delayed as well. The council did not state any reason for the delay in issuing the admit card or postponing the exams.

The official announcement regarding the change in the exam date is yet to be notified on the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in.

The exam will be conducted online and will have a duration of 2 and a half hours. The UP Polytechnic question paper will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 400 marks. Candidates must note that the medium of the question paper will be in English and Hindi. As per the marking scheme, four marks will be awarded for every correct answer, and one mark will be deducted for an incorrect response.
