JEE Mains 2022: Notification Released for Exam, Know When and Where to Apply

JEE Mains 2022: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification for the conduct of JEE Main 2022 exam (Joint Entrance Examination) on its official website. Candidates desirous of appearing in the examination can proceed to fill the application form on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in by March 31, 2022. The examination will take place in two sessions in April and May 2022.
JEE Mains 2022 Schedule:

It is informed to the candidates that the JEE Mains exam 2022 scheduled for April session will be held from April 16 to April 21, 2022, while the May session will be in force from May 24 until May 29, 2022. However, the date of declaration of JEE Mains 2022 result is still awaited by the examination conducting body.

Candidates applying for the exam must note that this year, there would be no application correction window for the JEE Mains 2022 Application form.

JEE Mains 2022: Application fees

General category candidates applying for the JEE Mains Exam 2022 are required to pay Rs 600 as the application form fees, while for the SC/ST/PwD/third-gender candidates, the fees has been fixed as Rs 325. For the general category candidates hailing from abroad, the fees is Rs 3000. Meanwhile, SC/ST/PwD and third gender candidates belonging to overseas are required to pay Rs 1500 as application fees.

JEE Mains 2022: Steps to Apply

Candidates willing to apply for the exam must follow the simple steps provided below to apply for the exam.

1. Visit the official website of NTA at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
2. Click on the link located on the homepage that reads "JEE Mains Application form 2022". You will be redirected to a new page where you must first register yourself.
3. Post registration, login using your generated credentials. The application form will appear on the screen. Fill in the application form details, upload the required documents in the prescribed format and pay the application fees. Click on 'Submit'.
4. Download the confirmation page.
5. Take a printout of the same for future references.
