India Post GDS 2023 Application Correction Window: India Post opened the application correction window for the Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) [Branch Postmaster (BPM)/Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)] in Branch Post Offices (BOs) created in the year 2023 on June 24, 2023. Candidates can make changes to the application form at the official website, indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.


India Post GDS 2023 Registration Reopen: Important Details

India Post started registrations for the Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) [Branch Postmaster (BPM)/Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)] in Branch Post Offices (BOs) established in 2023 on May 22, 2023 and ended on June 23, 2023. Previously, the deadline for applications was June 11, 2023.

“Candidates can edit all values except Name, Mobile Number, and Email ID. Once by clicking on edit option entire previous application will be disqualified and the candidate need to provide entire data afresh. After clicking edit if application is submitted with incomplete/partial data application will be treated as not submitted. Application once edited can not be re-edited hence candidate should thoroughly check the preview before submission,” reads the notification.

The recruitment drive aims to fill 12,828 posts of Branch Postmaster and Assistant Branch Postmaster in Branch Post Offices (BOs) across various circles.

Application Correction Window: India Post opened the application correction window on June 24, 2023, and will close it on June 26, 2023. Candidates who submitted their applications by June 11 can also edit their applications from June 24 to 26.
 

India Post GDS Recruitment 2023: Selection Procedure

In the selection process for India Post GDS Recruitment 2023, candidates will be selected based on their 10th percentage. A merit list will be prepared based on the 10th percentage, followed by document verification and a medical examination. The final merit list will be issued thereafter. It is important to note that no examination of any kind will be conducted for this recruitment.
