IIT JAM 2023: Registrations Conclude Tomorrow, Check Steps to Apply Here

IIT JAM 2023: The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) is all set to shut down the registration window for IIT JAM 2023 tomorrow on October 11, 2022. Candidates desirous of applying for the exam can visit the official website of IIT JAM at jam.iitg.ac.in and fill the application form for the exam.
IIT JAM 2023: What After Application Window Closure?
 
Once the registration window closes for the exam, the candidates will be able to download the admit card for the same. The admit card for the exam shall be released by the official examination conducting body probably in the month of January 2023. However, IIT Guwahati is yet to release the official date for the release of admit cards.
 
IIT JAM 2023: Exam Date
 
The IIT JAM 2023 exam shall be conducted in the Computer-based (online) mode on February 12, 2023. The medium of the exam will be English. The exam will last for a duration of 3 hours, in which candidates will be required to answer as many as 60 questions.
 
The paper will consist of three sections: Section A, B and C.
 
IIT JAM 2023: Registration Fee
 
The general category candidates will be required to pay an amount of Rs 1,800 for one paper and Rs 2500 for two papers. Meanwhile, the SC/ST/PwD and female category candidates will be required to pay Rs 900 for one paper and Rs 1250 for both the papers.

Candidates will be able to register for the exam by adhering to the simple steps mentioned below.

1. Log on to the official website of IIT JAM at jam.iitg.ac.in.
2. Click on the relevant link to register for the exam.
3. Proceed to fill the application form for the exam.
4. Upload all the required documents and pay the application fee in the online mode.
5. Submit all details and download the confirmation page on your device.
6. Print its hard copy for future references.
