IIT JAM 2022: The IIT JAM 2022 Exam has been scheduled to be held on February 13, 2022. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Joint Admission Test (JAM) is held every year for candidates desirous of seeking admission into postgraduate courses in Science, such as MSc. IIT Roorkee is the examination conducting body for the IIT JAM Exam 2022 which will conduct the exam in the online mode.
The admit card for the exam has also been made available for download. Thus, the registered candidates can view and download the admit card from the official website of IIT JAM at jam.iitr.ac.in. It must be noted that IIT JAM 2022 Admit Cards can be downloaded only through online mode on the official website and candidates must take a hard copy of the admit card to the exam hall.
It is mandatory for the candidates to carry their identity proof and IIT JAM Admit Card 2022 to the exam centre.
IIT JAM 2022: Syllabus for the exam
The syllabus prescribed for the IIT JAM Exam 2022 includes subjects like Chemistry, Economics, Biotechnology, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Physics and Geology. Candidates are advised to visit the official website to check the syllabus at length.
IIT JAM 2022: Paper pattern
The IIT JAM 2022 Exam will advance in the Computer-based mode. The question paper will carry 100 marks and will consist of 60 questions. The entire paper will be divided into three sections- Sections A, B and C.
IIT JAM 2022 will include seven exam papers, consisting of objective type questions. Three different patterns of questions- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs) and Numerical Answer Type Questions (NATs) will be asked in the exam.
