IIM CAT 2021 Registration Ends Tomorrow; Check Revised Exam Pattern and Duration Here

The registration process for IIM CAT 2021 is to conclude tomorrow at 5.00 pm, on September 22, 2021 (Wednesday). The Indian Institute of Management, IIM Ahmedabad is the authorised agency to conduct the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2021 for admissions to Post Graduate Programmes in Management (PGP) and Fellow Programmes in Management (FPM) [Doctoral] offered by various IIM and other management institutions across the country.
The CAT 2021 registration had been commenced on August 04 and was scheduled to conclude on September 15. However, on behalf of the requests received from aspirants facing hardship due to the ongoing pandemic situation, the authorities extended the application last date till, September 22, 2021. The IIM CAT information brochure, application form, eligibility criteria, CAT exam syllabus and other important details are available on the official website - iimcat.ac.in. 

As per the basic eligibility criteria, the candidates who possess a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, from a recognised University or educational institution are eligible to apply for the exam. The IIM Ahmedabad will conduct the CAT 2021 online computer-based (CBT) admission test on November 28, 2021.

IIM CAT 2021 Latest Exam Pattern & Details

• The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2021 will be conducted on November 28, 2021 (Sunday) in three sessions.
• The duration of the online computer-based (CBT) admission test will be 120 minutes.
• There will be three sections:

➢ Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
➢ Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
➢ Section III: Quantitative Ability

• The candidates will be allotted exactly 40 minutes for answering questions in each section.
• It should be noted that candidates will not be allowed to switch from one section to another while answering questions in a section.
