The exam for HPPSC Combined Competitive Prelims 2020 has been postponed by the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC).

The examination was earlier scheduled to be conducted on April 26, 2020.

The new date of the examination will be announced by the Commission on the official site of HPPSC at hppsc.hp.gov.in.

HPPSC Combined Competitive Prelims 2020: Exam Details 

The preliminary examination will be conducted in ten districts of Himachal Pradesh. The preliminary examination comprises of 2 papers- Paper I and Paper II. Paper I comprises of General Studies and shall have 200 marks and there will be 100 objective type questions. Paper-II will be the Aptitude Test. This paper also comprises of 100 objective type questions for 200 marks.

HPPSC Combined Competitive Prelims 2020: Selection Process 

The selection process comprises of preliminary exam followed by the main examination and Viva-Voca. For the main examination candidates will have to opt for one of the optional subjects. The candidate who qualifies the main examination will be called for viva-voce individually by the office. The final selection will be determined on the basis of written performance in the main examination and viva-voce.

The official notification was released on January 22 and the last date to apply was on February 10, 2020. This recruitment drive will fill up 26 posts in Himachal Pradesh Administration.
