Negligent Teachers will not Setup the Paper for the Exam: HPBOSE Decides

Board members will not be able to set up the board papers from the teachers who are negligent in the board exams. The Board has also written to the State Education Department asking action against these careless teachers.

The school education board conducted the supplementary examinations in the tenth and twelfth year of March and in the month of June in March. Errors were found in the examination papers of both classes in the examinations. Because of which the test takers had problems in answering many questions.

After this, mistakes were also made in the evaluation of answer sheets. The number of examiners has increased in re-evaluation. There was also a change in the top 10 list of the board.

Amar Ujala had published the issue of errors in the question papers of supplementary examinations in June. After which the board administration took this tough decision.
In the question papers, the board has considered the negligence of the teachers as a reason to miss-assess mistakes and answer papers. After which the Board has decided to prepare the list of teachers who have carelessness and to remove them in future with paper setter and assessment responsibility.

Classes of teachers will take place at the district level

The State School Education Board has taken corrective decisions to deal with such cases in the future, as well as taking action on negligence. The board has instructed the organizing of workshops at the district level from the month of August.
In this kind of workshop, teachers will be given special training in the paper setter and evaluation teachers. Teachers will be given precautionary measures while setting up the paper and tips to improve the evaluation process.

During the annual and supplemental examinations, the Board has decided to not take services of teachers who are careless in the evaluation of question papers and answer books in the forthcoming examinations. The board administration also decided to organize workshops at the district level.
